Jurgen Klopp is starting to get frustrated by the situation of Daniel Sturridge, but, he has vowed to provide every bit of support to the talented England international.

Sturridge has failed to play too many games for the Reds in the ongoing season.

After remaining out of the line up due to injury for the starting four weeks of the season, Sturridge had returned to the Liverpool fold in September and had shown good form too.

He had smashed a brace to sink Aston Villa in his second game on comeback and was all set to lead Liverpool’s front line for the rest of the season, but, unfortunately, it wasn’t to be as another injury hampered him to rule him out of action again and he is yet to get it healed.

The absence of Sturridge is creating problems for Liverpool and that’s why, they have been in search of a striker in the transfer market.

It was reported that if Liverpool manages to land an experienced striker, they might be looking to get rid of Sturridge next summer as their patience with him is running out.

But, Klopp denied that the transfer’s on the cards.

Although the boss accepted that it’s hard to keep patience in this sort of situation, but, he said that he’s responsible as a manager to make sure Sturridge gets the mental support he requires at this point of time to solve his problems.

In the words of Klopp, “Everyone know how big a difference Daniel makes to this team if he is fit and healthy, but, right now he is struggling and this is the time he has to be given support. It’s my responsibility as a manager to give him that.”
Sturridge has, in total, played 72 games for Liverpool.
